Set of 8 Tattoos

The natural world is our ultimate treasure, and the artists of the Northern Renaissance understood this with intense dedication. Selected from a volume of engravings by Jacob Hoefnagel, the son of Joris who masterfully executed the Dragonfly, these intricate depictions of nature are timeless in their honesty and realism.

The Natural Curiosities Set is a continuation of our licensing partnership with the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Together they comprise the Old Masters Collection.

This Set contains two each of Seahorse (Detail), Stag Beetle (Detail), Wildflower (Detail), Butterflies, a Tattly Sponge, and a card insert illustrating the engravings from which these were extracted.
