Not to toot our own horn, but we're so amoured to have Dürer's armored Rhinoceros as part of our collection!
Based on written descriptions and a simple sketch of an Indian Rhinoceros, Albrecht Dürer himself never actually saw the creature depicted in his iconic woodcut The Rhinoceros (1515). Yet, despite its inaccuracies, his Rhinoceros was incredibly popular. It may be over 500 years old but when applied correctly, it looks amazing!
