New Jess Chen Tattly
Introducing a bold new floral and new tiny Tattly by tattoo artist Jess Chen. Scroll down to see more, and to learn a little bit more about her.
Jess Chen is the most recent addition to our roster of female tattoo artists who have designed Tattly. Last season's Petite Garden sheet was a huge hit.
And we were so happy that her mom was finally able to wear some of her original work in Tattly form. (Image c/o Jess Chen)
Based out of Toronto, Chen also plays in sketches, prints, ceramics, floral arrangements, and film. Check out her portfolio to see more.
Here she is in conversation over her illustrations with former Tattly Partnership Director, and founder of Praise Shadows, Yng-Ru Chen.
Her tattoo work is always based on the organic simplicity of nature (and occasionally Happy Meals), and she's a master in composition on the body. Her new Yellow Floral is one of our largest florals, and honors the bold sizes Chen plays with on her clients.
On the other side of the spectrum, the new Petite Produce sheet is based on her real tiny tattoo designs that take the form of mini avocados, Swiss chard, and passion fruit. (The image below is her real tattoo work, followed by the Tattly!)
Et Voila! The petite-est Petite Produce we've ever produced. Just add a gentle mist of water to make it your own. (Just kidding - use the regular amount of water for best results ;)
