DIY Valentine's Day Pop-Up Card!

Valentine's Day is the perfect pop-portunity to spread love in the Tattly way. Just choose your design and gather your supplies to create the perfect Valentine for your lover or pal(entine). We used Tessa Perlow's Stitched Heart for this one.

Here’s what you need:

  • 2 Blank cards, preferably using thick-stock paper
  • Gluestick
  • A pair of Tattly (or more, depending on your design)
  • Sponge
  • Scissors

Step 1: On a folded card, cut two 1.5 inch slits at the center of the folded side. Tabs can be wide or narrow or in multiples depending on what size Tattly you choose.

Step 2. Open the card and fold tabs inward. Crease each tab at the center. They should now be on the inside of the card.

Step 3: On a separate piece of paper, apply Tattly of your choice. (We used Stitched Heart by Tessa Perlow). You can also use the Tattly on its own If you want to give a usable Tattly! Just trim around the design itself.

(Step 3-1: Place the Tattly facedown onto the paper. Don’t forget to peel the plastic! Use your sponge to carefully apply the Tattly to the paper.)

(Step 3-2: Peel the paper backing to reveal your design. Voila!)

Step 4: Cut the paper along the design and glue it to your tab.

Step 5: Glue the second blank card outside of the first piece of paper. Press together, this will hide the tab cutouts. All that's left to do now is write your message! Don't forget that Tattly come in a pair - include the extra design to share.

Step 6: Browse through our Valentine's Day Collection and mix it up! Share the love with us at @tattly and #tattly 📸❤️
